On behalf of the City of Apalachicola, we extend our sincere thanks to the Franklin County Board of County Commissioner for extending the Local State of Emergency. Your support has been invaluable to our ongoing recovery efforts.

Water Services:
Water tank services will continue to operate at the following locations:
-Commercial District: Under the bridge
-Residential District: 192 Coach Wagoner Blvd

New Support Services Beginning Thursday, June 19 at 5pm - Monday, June 23 at 10 pm: A shower trailer and laundry trailer will be available at 192 Coach Wagoner Blvd. These facilities will be open 24 hours a day, with security provided.

Please Note:
-You are responsible for bringing your own laundry supplies and toiletries.
- For your safety, we strongly recommend wearing shower or water shoes.

Water Distribution Sites:
There are three designated water distribution locations:
- Willis ACE Hardware
- Holy Family - ECCC
- Living Waters Assembly of God

Ice Distribution Sites:
- Leavins Seafood

Beginning Thursday June 19th, each site will operate every other day on a rotating basis. Please check local postings or the city’s official communication channels for the current schedule.

Thank you, Franklin County Board of County Commissioners and Culligan, for the quick response, installation, and funding of the new water filtration system at the EOC. During Hurricane season our EOC is activated regularly and houses many staff not only from Franklin County but State agencies and volunteers who are here 24/7 to assist with Response and Recovery.
