The Franklin County Board of County Commissioners and the City of Apalachicola have declared a local state of emergency, emphasizing the health and safety of residents. An emergency meeting was held to mobilize resources swiftly. Ice and water trucks will be available starting June 15th from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Commercial District under the bridge and at 192 Coach Wagoner Blvd.
The City will continue partnering with Franklin County Emergency Management, Florida Division of Emergency Management, Sen. Simon, Rep.
